Blast Mitigation
Holds glass fragments in the frame during explosive events. Reduces secondary injury from flying glass — the leading cause of blast casualties.
Forced Entry Delay
Multi-layer polyester construction dramatically increases the time required to breach a window — critical for active threat response protocols.
UV & Solar Control
All Armorcoat® films provide 99% UV rejection, reducing interior fading and protecting students and staff from UV exposure through glass.
Wet-Glaze Attachment
For maximum blast performance, 8–14 Mil films should be installed with a wet-glaze or mechanical attachment system anchoring film to the window frame.
