Effective January 1, 2026 | Solar Gard 2026 Product Portfolio
1. Product Description & Sales Model
The Window Place USA is an authorized distributor of Solar Gard window film products manufactured by Saint-Gobain Performance Glazing. We sell exclusively factory-sealed 100-foot master rolls (WingSafe™ rolls are 95 feet). All products are shipped in original manufacturer packaging.
We do not offer: [FULL 100' MASTER ROLL ONLY]s, custom cuts, slitting services, per-foot pricing, or custom lengths. Our catalog is restricted to Architectural, Security, and Bird Protection window film. Automotive window film is not available.
2. Pricing
All prices reflect the January 1, 2026 Solar Gard Product Portfolio at our authorized retail rate (2.1x unit). Prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of order placement is the binding price for that transaction.
We do not price-match, negotiate, or offer discounts from listed retail prices. Volume pricing for commercial projects may be available — contact us for a formal quote.
3. Order Acceptance & Cancellation
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and a confirmation email is sent. Once an order is accepted and processed, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded. If you need to make changes to your order, contact us immediately — we will make every effort to accommodate requests before the order ships, but cannot guarantee changes after processing begins.
4. Final Sale — No Returns Policy
As an authorized 2026 distributor of factory-sealed master rolls, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been processed. This policy applies to all products without exception, including but not limited to: incorrect width selection, change of project scope, buyer's remorse, or unused product.
4.1 Manufacturer Defect Exception
The sole exception to the Final Sale policy is unused film with a verified manufacturer defect discovered prior to installation. All defect claims must meet the following criteria:
- Inspection Window: Claim must be submitted within 30 days of delivery
- Condition: Film must be unused, uncut, and in its original factory-sealed condition
- Documentation: Written claim with photographic evidence of the defect is required
- Verification: Defect must be confirmed as a manufacturing defect by Solar Gard / Saint-Gobain
- Resolution: Approved claims result in product replacement only — no cash refunds
Defects caused by improper installation, environmental conditions, handling damage, or installer error are not covered under this exception.
5. Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected on all orders shipped to the following states: Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Hawaii (HI), and Texas (TX).
Tax-exempt purchasers (licensed contractors, resellers) must provide a valid, current resale certificate for the ship-to state prior to order placement. Sales tax is not retroactive and will not be refunded after an order has been placed. Submit resale certificates via email before ordering. Allow 1–2 business days for verification.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Standard shipping lead time is 3–5 business days for all factory-sealed full roll orders. FedEx is our primary carrier for all North American distributions. All rolls ship in original manufacturer packaging. We do not offer Same Day or Standard 3-5 Day FedEx Logistics.
7. Technical Specifications & UV Standard
All Solar Gard Architectural and Security window films distributed by The Window Place USA provide a minimum of 99% UV Rejection as a standard feature. This applies to all films in the Armorcoat, Graffitigard, WingSafe™, TrueVue, PureVue Ceramic, Ecolux, and Sentinel Plus product lines.
Technical specifications are sourced directly from the Solar Gard 2026 Product Portfolio (effective January 1, 2026) and are subject to change by the manufacturer without notice.
8. Warranty
All Solar Gard products carry manufacturer warranties as specified in the 2026 Product Portfolio. Warranty terms vary by product line:
- WingSafe® Black Dot: 10-Year Manufacturer Warranty
- WingSafe® Vertical, Horizontal, Dot: 3-Year Manufacturer Warranty
- Graffitigard (RA): Per Solar Gard warranty documentation
- Armorcoat Safety & Security: Per Solar Gard warranty documentation
- Sentinel Plus OSW (Exterior): Sentinel Plus Exterior Warranty — see warranty documentation
Warranties are provided by Solar Gard / Saint-Gobain and are subject to their terms and conditions. The Window Place USA does not independently warrant any product beyond the manufacturer's warranty.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Window Place USA's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for installation costs, labor, consequential damages, or any losses arising from product use or misuse. All products must be installed by a qualified window film professional in accordance with Solar Gard installation guidelines.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where The Window Place USA is domiciled.
