Why 7 Mil? The Acid-Etching Threat
Acid-etching — where vandals use acid or sharp objects to permanently etch glass — is one of the most costly forms of vandalism. The 7 Mil Graffitigard provides the thickest sacrificial barrier in the line, absorbing acid attacks and deep scratches that would permanently damage unprotected glass. The RA adhesive system then allows the damaged film to be removed cleanly, leaving the glass beneath completely unharmed.
